PIGFOOT FINALLY CAUGHT ON FILM!

Photo of PIGFOOT by Steve Leadpepper

Local fisherman and self-taught bug expert Steve "the Bug Man" Leadpepper recently snapped this exclusive photo of PIGFOOT the legendary pig-like man-ape of western Massachusetts.

Reached at Norman's Apple Tavern three quarters of the way into his seventh Wormy Apple Shooter, Leadpepper recounted his harrowing tale. "I was fishin' for some trouts and collectin' them funny bugs down the Manhan river and then I seen what I thought was a big ol' black bear. Then I noticed it had a head more like a big pig than a a big ol' black bear and it had these big meaty monkey hands! Well I near peed my pants, OK truth be told maybe I did just a little, but I managed to get my bug camera out and click me a picture. Then the thing looked over at me and I slipped on a wet rock and went under, camera and all. When I bobbed back up to the surface the creature was gone. I hightailed it back to my truck not wanting to chance the scenario of the pig monkey's return."

Killville Police Chief Big Dick Turner had this to say. "We checked it out, but who knows what that crazy bug man saw. And his camera fell in the drink. Could be one of them double s'posures or some crazy shit. Anyway we went into the woods and looked around, fired off a couple hundred rounds or so. Killed some squirrels and scared the shit outa some deer. But who knows? Coulda been Pigfoot. Won't know for sure till we kill us one."

Skeptics will surely continue to scoff at the existence of Pigfoot and other crypto-zoological wonders even while being buried under a continually growing mountain of evidence. If you can't believe a bug man, then who can you believe. So next time you're in Killville down the Manhan river "fishin' for some trouts", better keep one eye open sideways for that big ol' pig-monkey, and if you ever find your way down to Norman's Apple Tavern and you happen to spot Steve "The Bug Man" Leadpepper why don't you buy him a Wormy Apple Shooter and ask him to tell you his story.
